"Perfect one"
It's very clear in this prayer below, that Jesus is praying to His Father for us, those who put their faith in him. He is not praying for the visible global church with its disunity, plainly;
In this scripture, Jesus is not telling us to make ourselves one, or united. His prayer request, clearly is to His Father, and our only response to this scripture and Jesus' prayer, is do we believe it, do we believe the Father granted Jesus' request?

The Holy Spirit tells me, that we must believe He did, because he would never deny His only begotten Son, and we know faith always comes before the proof. Unless we believe our God refused his son's prayer request.

I don't know about you, but I can't believe Jesus was denied by his father, which would mean that our enemy must have deceived us, because far from believing we are one, we apparently believe there is something we should achieve.

We know our enemy's usual strategy is to try to draw our focus onto his worldly 'achieving' perspective. "Unity, that's what you need", our own understanding of unity.
But if this were true for the whole body of Christ, it would be a colossal global deception, that must be costing billions of unreached souls. The Lord is telling me that this is what this attack on our belief is all about, and is where we must now take the fight, doing battle to reclaim our faith in what God has already done for us.

Our enemy knows this is where the real battle is, and he knows he doesn't want us to go there. So to steer us away from there he gets us focused on the practicalities, "What's our plan for going forward", he says.
But the only planning we need to do going forward, is to plan out how we are going to pray and worship our way back into faith, not achieving. It's really not difficult, once we refuse to focus on his mountain of practical difficulties.
It's not hard to imagine the father of deception already being one step ahead of us, regarding the importance of our faith in our oneness in God.
All we need to do is defend our old forgotten wall, just as fervently as we are reaching the lost.
I can't stop thinking about all our tireless love for just one precious soul, but what about the billions, because this is what it's all about.
We must stay focused on the real battle, where our enemy is focused, which is, what are we believing?

However, there is an enemy stronghold in our thinking,
Please pray and consider the possibility, that every thought that we've ever had, that legitimizes our belief and acceptance of this mountain of divisions in Satan's world, that they have all been purposefully put there by our enemy, to deceive our spirits.
As incomprehensible as that may sound, imagine if you will for a moment, that the oneness power available to the bride
is that important to our enemy.
Is it beyond us to imagine that Satan might know
more about this than we do?
Fabricating this stronghold in our thoughts, painting an extraordinary all-encompassing worldly theatre backdrop,
which discourages us, and steals our faith and belief in our unrelated God-given spiritual oneness.
Do you really think this is beyond our enemy,
when we consider the value of the Bride of God?

Even though we have no doubt that we are one in spirit,
it seems we can't help ourselves from having our attention
drawn towards the size of this gigantic mountain of divisions,
in the natural, 1 Samuel 17:4-7 and away from the size of our God.
Satan then knows he will see the fruit of his deception.
We will see things from his false achieving perspective.
Then as good Christians wanting to please our Father, and the sound of distant echoes from our past true spiritual oneness memory, we strive anyway for unity, and with some success.
But Satan knows, relatively speaking, the Body of Christ has now lost her God-given spiritual oneness power. Instead of receiving her free gift of oneness, and walking in grace in faith, she is now looking for unity in Her own understanding.
That is our enemy doing what he does, steal, and he has,
our best weapon.
We must simply look away from it, and put our eyes back on the truth. We are one in Christ, and we must believe that way before we try and fathom, consider or give any thought to unity in our own understanding, in the visible local or global church.
We don't need to perceive, comprehend or explain our spiritual unity-path-plan ahead. We walk by faith, just as Jesus did,
and we normally would, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us.
We know it is at these times of our walk on our journey of faith, when we see our Father's miracles,
and He has plenty lined up for us.
Its God who puts the next 'stepping stone' under our feet, when we step out in total faith, and we know this. It's just the size of that Goliath that's crippling our faith. But that Goliath is really about nothing, and we can easily prove it.

Yes, global church unity would be desirable, however, look at the size of the problem (in the natural). We see the vast difficulties and disagreements facing us, where do we begin?
The leaders of those denominations have little in common with us, those other leaders have no time for us, our doctrines are miles apart, they don't even believe the basic fundamentals of our faith, where on earth do we start?

I'm not saying I'm another Calab, I'm just reminding us,
WE are the Bride, the army of the most high God.

The Holy Spirit has the answer, and He is waiting on us to seek diligently, and ask Him to reveal this truth to our spirit.

As I said, the battle as always is for our belief,
and that is where we have to spiritually go to war.
Turning large amounts of our resolution and resources,
away from the traditional battlefield as we've been seeing it,
and onto the attack coming against us from our blindside.
How many Alpha and other Christian training courses even mention, never mind study diligently, the global Church of God and the individual part we play as ministries, churches and denominations in the importance of her oneness?
In 50 years of listening to church leaders, the only time I've ever heard the word unity mentioned, is when it is related to unity amongst the members of our own church, family of churches, ministries, denominations or with those we feel we have agreement with in our own understanding.
We are not talking about that here, that is our understanding
of unity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit has something
far greater in store for His bride.
A God given Holy unity, the ultimate evangelism!

We've already experienced some of the blessings and power of unity, we already know how it works in our own individual churches, ministries, and further afield. So there cannot be any question in our hearts, that when rolled out across the whole,
it would be 'there' that we would find the power we seek.

If we take the perspective of us, a mighty army under siege,
and the much weaker aggressor's successful strategy,
has been to attack our under-valued,
and undefended critical wall.
We must re-evaluate and recalibrate our strategy and recourses,
and seek the Holy Spirit for fresh spiritual focus and direction.
