Jesus prayed this prayer to His Father just before He left us.

Jesus is praying to His Father,
He is not asking us to make 'ourselves' one.
He is not asking us to make 'ourselves' one.
So unless we believe that God refused His Son's prayer request, we must believe that we are one in Christ, and if we are one in Christ, how can there be a need for more unity?
The problem is a common one,
how do we turn head knowledge into heart knowledge,
because we know that believing in faith what God has already done for us, is where our spiritual power is found!

You and I have had a choice to make every day since we first received Christ, to either believe and walk by faith in what the Word of God says

Our unity, just like being British, is an effect, not a cause,

The astute question must be, why are we being shown
this imaginary need, and how is it hurting us as a whole?
