Τετέλεσται (It is finished)
Jesus said so!
Jesus said so!
Jn 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished,
that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
Jn 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar,
and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
Jn 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished:
and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
The very last thing that our Lord said before He died was "it is finished".
We know Jesus didn't just make a token sacrifice for us, He paid it in full. There's no sacrifice that we can make that will add to or replace the sacrifice of Christ. He did it all, and we can thank Him forever!

We ponder and meditate on these last words of Jesus, considering how they relate to each one of us.
However we must not overlook the profound relevance and impact, that His same words have for His Body as a whole. |
The result of His sacrifice is we are now free
from the power of sin, sin no longer has a hold over us,
we can now cast out sin in the Name of Jesus.
from the power of sin, sin no longer has a hold over us,
we can now cast out sin in the Name of Jesus.
Which means because all division in the Body of Christ
is based upon, and rooted in sin, we are no longer
subject to any sin that causes any apparent division.
is based upon, and rooted in sin, we are no longer
subject to any sin that causes any apparent division.
We can now see that behind every apparent legitimate reason for any disunity in the Body of Christ, is nothing more
than sin that with our desire can easily be rooted out.
In truth, slithering demons hiding behind a veil of shadows and lies, invisible to us I believe, before we received the Holy Spirit revelation of our free gift of spiritual oneness.
Remembering faith always precedes proof
"It is finished".

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Who's beloved children we are, now dwelling with and in Him,
in His image, together as ONE.
Made alive in Christ
