truth
If our enemy can get us focused away from the truth, (our oneness in Christ) and on to his very elaborate "everything else" (anything else), he knows that eventually we will at the very least be willing to downgrade the importance to us of our oneness.
He then knows that we are sat down at his table, with our eyes unintentionally off of the truth, and we are now inadvertently ready to converse with him about our unity, us, the whole and complete, "finished" Body of God, he's got a nerve.
He is then able to present us with the most comprehensive menu of his 'reasons' that appear to legitimize our own disunity. Poisonous spiritual pills that don't taste good to us, but with our eyes on his back drop, we somehow can stomach it,
resign ourselves to the loss of our original belief in our oneness.
Have you ever stopped and really noticed, just how many of those excuses there are out there in the world, masquerading
as good reasons for us to accept our own disunity?
Like a mountain of downward pathways, all leading away from the same place, the place where we once began.
Most of his menu of reasons, pathways or pills, we have no interest in, we don't have an opinion on 'grace' v 'hyper grace', or modern music v hymns.
We are really not moved by what we see as tiny differences in some scripture interpretations. However he only needs us to swallow and buy into one discrepancy each, and it doesn't matter which, for his menu to be fit for purpose.
We can be sure that he has an individual one especially designed to appeal to each one of us,
that equates to exactly the same end result.
Doctrinal interpretation is an obvious one, but there are an endless supply of others.
Insecurity, ambition, pride and fear among many others are all avenues that funnel us down paths that lead, or tempt us to the same place, away from the truth, accepting our loss
of belief in our oneness.
Imagine ambition, pride and the other avenues as primary colours or paths, but there is a breath-taking spectrum like a rainbow of every colour available to him. It's like wherever we look, 'paths' are all we can see, our choice it appears, is not whether to choose, but rather which one will we choose.
He has an endless supply for us to choose from, he will without doubt, find us one 'reason' or path that we will accept,
that feels least uncomfortable to us.
I'm not talking about a "reason or path" that is causing disunity, I'm talking about a pill that is taking our eyes off of the spiritual fact, that we are ONE in Christ, there is a huge difference.
Its like being on the peak of the highest snow capped mountain, (the hour we first believed), we'd like to stay there with the view, but our enemy wants us down, and he is not bothered which route we take, as long as we do set off in a direction, ANY DIRECTION will do. ALL routes head downwards and away from our belief in the truth of our oneness.
Please stay with me here, once he has captured our belief,
he knows what our response and actions will be,
we will simply follow on autopilot the course down, which is mapped out clearly for us on our back-drop.
One of the paths we hear about very often involving ambitious leaders, is the route down called and camouflaged as,
an amicable separation, for example:-
"We're parting ways from our church or ministry with no bad feelings, we're starting a new one,
we'll be able to serve our God more effectively".
"So we can serve our God more effectively".
This sounds possitive to our carnal mind,
even our spirit believes its probably for the best.
But it is not, it is another one of those subtle poisonous pills
from our enemy's endless spectrum of paths down.
Reasons to except the loss of our faith
in the truth of our oneness.

We know it happens a lot, and the 'reasons for it,
the paths and excuses all appear legitimate, understandable, explainable, reasonable and unique, yet behind the veil we see in the spirit, that they are all heading out in the same direction, away from the truth of our oneness.
Which for Satan trumps everything, a price well worth paying. For him to lose a knight, rook or bishop
(a new impressive church or ministry established)
is a bargain for him
compared to checkmate, which is ours already.
